Since 1902, the teddy bear has offered comfort and companionship to children all over the United States. Communities for Children celebrates the love affair with the teddy bear by launching our Send–a–Bear to Foster Care Campaign. When you donate dollars for a new teddy bear (or two or three or 103), we will make sure a bear finds it way into the arms of a foster child in need of a furry friend. Each bear delivered will carry the message: It’s my birthday and more than anything else I wanted to be with YOU!
